Abstract

Annotation- The work is devoted to improving the efficiency of urban electrical networks. A high level of technical complexity, a strong ramification, combined with a large number of elements operating in an unpredictable mode, make the control of the modes of such networks a rather difficult task, requiring a large amount of information about the parameters and modes of electrical networks and their elements, as well as the use of a large number of correcting elements. However, the lack of technical and organizational capabilities of networks, combined with the lack of scientific foundations for automated control of the modes of urban electrical networks, in general, significantly complicates the solution of this problem, and taking into account the peculiarities in urban electrical networks, weak correlation of voltage and reactive power graphs, as well as the high level of higher harmonics in networks in current conditions make it practically insoluble. Taking into account the above, the authors have developed the scientific foundations for automated control of the modes of urban electrical networks, based on the use of distributed multi-level control systems, built according to a hierarchical principle, in combination with the use of correcting multifunctional devices in load nodes, built on the basis of phase-switched booster transformers with an electronic control system. Their use opens up the possibility of automatically changing the modulus, phase shift and harmonic composition of voltages and currents in load nodes in accordance with the required law.
