Abstract

This paper discusses both the theoretical and practical aspects of the parametric identification of an inverter-fed induction motor drive system. The numerical static optimization method for identification of the system mathematical model was used. The influence of the excitation signals and of the conditions of supply and load on identified parameters of the system was analyzed. An approximation of changes in motor parameters of the motor mathematical model with the use of polynomial functions has enabled the adaptive control with "gain scheduling" (open-loop adaptation) on the basis of an offline parameter identification.
