Achievements in the field of digital technologies are entering a new era, as they correspond to or exceed the productivity of personnel in most of the production processes, including those that require cognitive activity. The article analyzes the impact of digital technologies and automation on increasing the production and technological potential of defense industry enterprises and the economic effect due to the growth of labor productivity and product competitiveness.
