Abstract
Recently, a series of microwave metasurfaces that are based on graphene have been developed rapidly, showing excellent performances in manipulating electromagnetic (EM) waves. However, independent control of amplitude and frequency of microwaves has not been realized in graphene-based metasurfaces until now. In this paper, we present an active metasurface based on graphene to realize anisotropic and independent modulations in reflected amplitude and resonant frequency of orthogonally polarized microwaves in real time. This work offers an novel approach of graphene-based device in the manipulation of microwaves and has potential applications in antenna, sensing and communications.
