IoT has an important and widespread role in emergency services that could even save human lives. IoT systems monitor the situations and respond immediately in case of emergency environments. This article discusses the IoT architecture, applications and challenges in emergency services. Furthermore, this paper also explores the situations where IoT is considered as a use case.
