Abstract

Nursing students need to learn and understand how to communicate through experience. In nursing communication, reflection skills like as looking back their experience are very important. So far we have developed a nursing communication education support system via embodied avatars, however this system doesn't have a function to reflect learners' role-playing by themselves. In this paper, we focus on the importance of reflection in nursing education, and examine to improve the system, and develop the function of reflection in a nursing communication education support system so as to improve more effective support nursing communication. The reflection function would help nursing students to learn their communications skills by the feedback of their role-playing.
