Abstract

With the large-scale renewable energy integrated into power system, the optimization of coordinated control system (CCS) is increasingly crucial. The dynamics of subcritical boiler-turbine system have been studied through kinds of modeling methods. But the ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are used in previous studies mainly, which can not reflect the uncertainties in this system. In this work, the uncertainties in subcritical boiler-turbine system had been analyzed and the dynamics had been described with stochastic differential equations (SDEs). Great improvements of boiler- turbine system model can be seen in the simulations. This model can be the platform to study stochastic model predictive control in CCS.
