It also came to light that the use of web-based instruction improved students’ understanding in biology concepts, stimulated students’ interest and thinking, and was not a waste of instructional time. The study revealed that students could use web-based software without any difficulties, the use of web-based instruction was not boring, the use of web-based instructions individualised learning and finally, the use of web-based technology for biology instruction was not time-consuming. Abstract

The perception of students in six (6) Southern Colleges of Education in Ghana on the use of web-based technology software for teaching and learning of biology was studied using 120 students.
