Diagnostic value of ctenterography and ultrasound elastography in detecting fibrous changes in the intestinal wall in patients with crohn’s stricture

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the sensitivity and specificity of CT enterography and ultrasound elastography in the diagnosis of a fibrous process in the intestinal wall in patients with the Crohn's stricture. The results obtained showed a very good quality of detection of fibrous changes in the intestinal wall using CT enterography, while US elastography demonstrated the unsatisfactory quality of the method used.
