From the General Editor: Forgetting Shakespeare, Remembering Collaborators

Abstract

Abstract:This editorial introduces the articles in issues 40.1 and 40.2, noting recurrent concerns with issues presented by the Shakespearean text in production; an interest in the mediating strategies used by Shakespearean institutions to communicate with audiences; and challenges to received knowledge. The editorial also welcomes new members of the editorial team and thanks collaborators who have supported the journal’s work over the last year.
