LANGUAGE VARIABILITY: FACTORS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENTOF GRAMMAR

Abstract

The article is devoted to a complex and diversified problem – the development of the language. The author examines in detail the aspect of the variability of the language. The historical transformation of language, as well as the development of thinking, should be considered as a process of successive transformation of one language system into another, and not as a change or repression of one system by another. The article analyzes various factors that influence the development of the language as a whole and the grammatical system as its part. This article attempts to uncover the causes of language changes. The author gives a generalized description of the factors influencing the development of a language, dividing them into intra-linguistic and extralinguistic ones.
