Abstract

This paper describes that the previous version of the phase measurement system based on the three-voltmeter method (TVM) has been improved by a new method of multiusing a thermal voltage converter (TVC) to allow wideband phase measurements up to sub-MHz range. With the proposed method, switching a differential mode and reversible single-ended modes of the TVC enables the phase measurement system to have additional preliminary calibrations of the voltmeters. The details of the other improvements to the measurement system is also described here.
