Abstract

Millimeter wave radar becomes very popular recently. Application of the radar is not only automotive radar but also human detection and man-machine interface, so forth. The radar often has superior resolution in range. However angular resolution improvement is often required. In this report, we propose virtual array technique by using so-called Khatri-Rao matrix product transform for the MIMO radar. Experimental results of indoor human detection is provided to show the validity of the technique.
