Abstract

Summary The soil-rock interface is of great significance to urban construction and disaster prevention. In this paper, the H/V spectral ratio (HVSR method) based on the propagation characteristics of microtremor is used to mapping the interface in Jinan urban area, China. The results showed that the H/V curve types are depending on the type of bedrock and its weathering degree.
