Abstract

Milk is nutrient rich food which seems to have no adequate substitute. A1 and A2 are specific type of proteins found in cow's milk with different proportion depending upon breed to the cattle. The intake of $\beta$ casin protein with A1 and A2 milk leads to the health disease. Since, purpose of this paper is not to find which type of milk is better for consumption. Though the use of A1 and A2 type of milk varies but adulteration method of milk is common. Usually the milk is adulterated with common adulterants such as sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, formaldehyde. The paper proposed a methodology for detection of milk adulteration in A1 and A2 type of milk by using electrical impedance measurement.
