Purposeful sampling method was used in the research conducted in the phenomenological design, which is one of the qualitative research approaches. In this direction, 20 child development specialist who voluntarily agreed to participate in the research were reached. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers and evaluated by descriptive analysis method. According to the research findings, child development specialist cannot work in special education and rehabilitation centers in accordance with their job descriptions. It has problems in terms of intensive working hours, low salary, professional law, job definition and personal rights. Abstract
