Basic Components of a Curriculum Theory

Abstract

In this article, I present a point of view on the basic components of a curriculum theory. I have broken the discussion into three topics: (1) a brief statement of theory-building processes, (2) a discussion of sources of potential curriculum postures, and (3) a statement outlining my own curriculum theory position. My major purpose in writing this article is to help stimulate more dialogue on curriculum theory.
