Abstract

This paper studies a method to reduce dimension of parameters in DC/DC converters. The method is based on a bi-objective optimization problem characterized by approximated Pareto front. The first objective evaluates stability of the circuit operation and the second objective evaluates extracting input power. In order to evaluate the approximated Pareto front, we present a modified hypervolume indicator. Applying the method to a piecewise linear model of a boost converter, the dimensionality reduction is realized effectively.
