Abstract
In contrast to the SUPPORT study findings, a survey of similar end-of-life care issues at Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn, IL showed that intensive educational and clinical efforts to inform hospital staff, patients and families of Advance Directives improved physician-patient agreement and understanding regarding DNR orders.
