The results from this technic is less sensitive to the complexity of the objective function. The proposed method is applied to minimum the real power loss in power system. Abstract

For operational analysis, scheduling and energy management of power system various optimizing tools are used. An optimal power flow is more important as it is capable to deal with various situations and involves the optimization of different objective functions within a set of operational and physical constraints. This paper present a comprehensive study of optimal power flow problem as constrained non-linear, single objective or multi-objective optimization problems.
