Abstract
In this paper, the procedure for modelling a unit cell in an infinite reflectarray antenna will be proposed and verified. The scattering matrix of the model will be derived using a commercial full wave simulator. Using the derived model the total input reflection coefficient is predictable for different loads without repeating the full wave simulation. This approach could be used in the design of MEMS-based reflectarray antennas.
