Abstract

In the present work Electronically Steerable Passive Phased Array of four Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna for X-band frequency applications has been designed and investigated. The two central elements of linear array are excited with microstrip feed and pattern is electronically steered within ±20° by the mutual coupling of two end parasitic elements and reactive tuning of associated capacitance. The proposed design with impedance bandwidth of 180MHz and gain nearly 6dBi could be used in radar communication and other wideband wireless applications operating in X-band for moving targets.
