Abstract

The 23 rd Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF) has concluded, after running for eight days at Tokyo's "Big Sight" Exhibition Center. Most noticeable machines at our EDM booth were renewed SP43 (Wire EDM) designed to dramatically enhance machining speeds for targeted applications where flushing nozzles are separated from part surfaces, and EDAC 1 (Ram EDM) developed especially for fine product manufacturer such as electronic components and connectors. I would like to introduce Makino's advanced application technologies, which surely would contribute toward productivity improvement.
