Abstract

A design approach for synthesizing pulse Doppler radar that performs both the surveillance and tracking tasks is proposed. Tracking in the range and tracking in the radial velocity are performed to meet the demands of several applications. During the surveillance operation the moving targets are displayed in the screen and the operator selects a target and orders for tracking in range and in velocity of the identified target.
