The Study on the Impact of Trade Facilitation on China's Export to ASEAN Countries

Abstract

With the implementation of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, trade has become an important part of the economic growth of both sides. On the one hand, with the promotion of WTO and other international organizations, traditional barriers to international trade have been weakened and trade growth has been promoted. On the other hand, the inconvenience and inefficiency of trade have gradually emerged, which has become a new barrier to trade. This paper studies the actual situation of ASEAN countries, calculates the Trade Facilitation Index of each country in recent years, and explores the impact of Trade Facilitation Index on China's exports by using the expanded gravity model.
