Abstract

The purpose of the report is to present the essence and manifestations of a key factor in the work of teachers, which is efficacy. Collective efficacy is a construct directly related to self-efficacy, which originates in Bandura`s social-cognitive theory. Theoretical perspectives on teachers` perceptions of their collective efficacy and how these affect their success in working with students are examined.
