Abstract
Teeth color matching is usually one important factor in the success of dental implants. Practice uses human judgment to match the implant color to the adjacent teeth. This usually requires color adjustments and more than one visit to obtain satisfying color match. In this paper we implement a software based on an optimized mathematical model to match the tooth color and recommend a mixture of standard shade colors that minimizes the error between the correct tooth color and the implants color. Results showed that, using the proposed color match algorithm 92% of patients get their correct color with minimum error from the first time. Comparing this result with about 84% for other methods, we can say that, the proposed method succeeded in enhancing the color selection of the implants.
