Abstract

In this work, we present a new approach for development of metallomesogen (MOM) mixtures for potential applications in electrooptical devices. Through combination of molecular engineering and physical mixing technique, we propose to overcome the major drawbacks of MOMs, including their inaccessible transition temperature and low solubility in liquid crystal hosts.
