Abstract

Vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANETs) aims in vehicle to vehicle communication (V2V) or communication between vehicle and nearby road-side infrastructure (V2I). VANET applications can be safety or non-safety related. One of the main characteristics of VANETs is its changing topology, due to this characteristic the information sent by a node should reach all the other nodes within the shortest possible time and such that the data is not lost, especially if the information is safety related.
