Abstract
This paper studies robust H-infinity control issue for uncertain descriptor time-delay systems via sliding mode technique. Some important conditions for the existence of designed linear-type switching surface and robust performance of the underlying sliding motion are derived via linear matrix inequality approach, from which the corresponding adaptive variable structure controller is synthesized.
