Originally Pathok Negoro established a mosque to accommodate the dawah institution to spread the development of Islam that formed by Sultan Hamengku Buwono I. Raden Sandeyo or Kyai Nur Iman is the man who served as the first Pathok Negoro on 1760, but at the time of the construction around the year 1723-1819.
