Abstract
This Work focuses on design and analysis of rectangular microstrip patch antenna simulated and manufactured for operating in the microwave band at a frequency of 5.8 GHz, using metamaterial technology which is a layer of 9–by–9 matrix of a Circular split ring resonators (SRR) .The MTM Superstrate can modify the radiation pattern and exhibit gain enhancement about 5 dB higher than the maximum gain of the original patch.
