Abstract

Power demand has been increased day by day due to high profile life style and digitalization. To meet increased power demand, we have to install new generation unit and expand our transmission and distribution network with establishment of new EHV substation. For the establishment of new EHV substation we require large area but in modern urbanization availability land area is limited which costs high in price. In that scenario, we must establish a new EHV substation which require smaller area, easy to install, provide reliable operation and easy to expand to meet future demand. To fulfill these requirements, we develop Hybrid System and Gas Insulated Substation instead of Air Insulated Substation.
