Abstract

An improved version of the parallelcontrol circuit for saturable-core output regulators is described, and the circuit's operation is investigated in a 500 KHz forward converter. Experimental results include in-circuit B-H loop waveforms and comparisons of three practical core materials in the saturable reactor.
