Reviving Hope by Using Platelet-Rich Plasma Combined with Saphenous Vein Stripping Surgery in Patients with Refractory Venous Leg Ulcer: A Case Report

Abstract

Venous ulcer is an open skin lesion that is difficult to heal and easy to recur. Although the fatality rate is low, the quality of life of patients is seriously affected, and there is the possibility of infection, deterioration and even amputation. The use of platelet rich plasma therapy has obvious effect, but the combined treatment of great saphenous vein dissection is rarely reported.
