Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of a push-pull full-wave ZCS-QRC feeding a DC servomotor. The speed of the DC servomotor can be controlled by varying the average value of the armature voltage. The same is achieved using push-pull ZCS-QRC by varying the duty cycle of the switching pulses. The converter employs a zero-current switched full-wave push-pull structure. It allows high power density and full exploitation of the transformer core.
