Abstract

This paper contributes an introduction of a vehicular communication system operating on optical spectrum. In taking advantage of existing LED lights available on a car, we proposed 2PSK as a spatial modulation approach in which a pair of LED light sources on a car (either rear LEDs or front LEDs) is used as a transmitter. Notably, a study on intelligent system, such as fuzzy logic and neural network, in order to overcome the challenges of communications in vehicular environment (i.e. noisy decoding, and multiple objects) is offered for a further work.
