This architecture eliminates the requirement of frequency synthesizer and power amplifier at transmitter side and L??A, mixers, IF amplifiers and ADCs. at receiver side of implant transceiver. The multi-standard external PCB loop antenna is incorporated into the transceiver as inductive element to achieve high sensitivity and selectivity. The design concept is simulated in 0.24um Ihp CMOS technology. Abstract
