«There is no such word!»: the textbook of Belarusian as a foreign language between lexicography and sociolinguistics

Abstract

The author focuses on the problems of teaching Belarusian as a foreign language in the modern language situation. Lexicographic work for linguodidactic purposes requires original solutions. One of them is metalanguage comments reflecting the sociolinguistic features of the functioning of certain lexemes.
