All this is based on the main theoretical\n approaches in this regard. A qualitative methodology was applied, bibliographic and\n descriptive typology, using the analytical-synthetic method. Within the analysis of\n results, a standard sanitary waste management process was defined with its related\n activities. The main risks that they could generate were identified. From there, the\n risks were classified and evaluated through the application of the risk matrix. This\n also facilitated a measure plan approach to mitigate the harmful effect of risks\n according to their probability and importance degree.
