Abstract

The paper establishes mathematics model of the non-liner rolling motion to damaged warship, and simulate type II flooded warship’s rolling motion under excitation of regular waves applying numerical simulation. Then study the influence of different parameters to rolling motion chaos response domain. The results suggest that rolling motion of flooded warship has many different motion form, which is likely to single frequency, multi-frequency or combined frequency. Chaos may be in certain terms by rolling motion.
