Effective supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This chapter explores the writing process, the Covid-19 pandemic completely changed the world's reality and our perception of remote learning, treatment, and socialization. The pandemic took away our sense of freedom. We no longer had the privilege of meeting our patients, our supervisors, or our supervisees in person. Almost overnight, we were required to shift our practices from face-to-face to video or phone sessions. Not only were we forced to change the frame and reconsider our work with patients, but we would also have to do the same with our supervisors.
