Abstract

To analyze the scattering properties of slits on single or stacked metal plates of finite thickness, a three-wave FDTD approach is applied. By using this scheme, we calculate the magnetic surface currents on both sides of a slit on a thick plate and the transmission cross sections of slits on single or thick plates. The numerical examples are given to demonstrate the accuracy of the method.
