Abstract
In the paper the concept of the novel speed and rotor flux observer with additional stator and rotor resistance estimator is presented. System is checked from the safety point of view and possibility of the application in the Fault Tolerant Control (FTC) systems. Simulation are performed in the Direct Field Oriented Control (DFOC). As a based speed estimator the MRASCC was used. Influence of the stator and rotor resistances variations to the properties of the speed sensor fault tolerant drive system are presented and described in detail. Drive is tested in simulation and experimental set-up with 1.1kW induction machine under faulted conditions.
