Space-time wave packets: A new class of spatio-temporally structured light waves

Abstract

Space-time wave packets are a class of pulsed beams whose distinguishing characteristic is that they are endowed with precise spatio-temporal structure. Here we present recent results with space-time wave packets including anomalous refraction across a planar interface and accelerating and decelerating pulses in free space.
