Noteworthy are the differences between the folk versions recorded by Srvandztyan and the poet’s artistic adaptations. Abstract

Artistic processing of folklore materials is one of the main areas of Hovhannes Tumanyan’s literary preferences. As a creative person and researcher, he has been investigating folklore and source study all his life and has become an exceptional and unsurpassed authority in the field of artistic processing of folk art.
