Abstract

Electromagnetic ultrasound surface wave generated by combination of double magnets and the snake-shaped coil is widely used in the aluminum plate surface flaw detection. The electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer model is investigated and the theory analysis of electromagnetic ultrasound surface wave and numerical simulation of EMAT physical mechanism are discussed in this paper.
