Abstract
In this letter, the fast parameter sweep of lumped components in circuit-field cosimulation applications are investigated based on the finite element method (FEM). By converting the varying lumped components into a low-rank perturbation problem, the FEM solution is updated through the Woodbury identity. In this way, the electromagnetic field or circuit responses can be reevaluated efficiently without first assembling and then solving the FEM matrix equation from scratch again in the lumped component parameter sweeping procedure. Two representative numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the correctness and acceleration performance of the proposed method.
