Design of broadband excitation signals with a user imposed power spectrum and amplitude distribution

Abstract

This paper presents a method to design broadband excitation signals with a user imposed power spectrum and amplitude distribution. If necessary, the crest factor can also be reduced by setting a don't care region at the tails of the desired amplitude density function.
