The practice of solidarity and synodality, in context with the Social Doctrine of the Church, constitute and articulate the unity in the diversity of pastoral activities. Therefore, it is important to describe how solidarity and synodality influence the pastoral care of the parish church of San Bernardino de Siena, Patzún, “community of communities”, with the purpose of forming in solidarity and synodality those who are part of each group of the pastoral parish. For this reason, Pope Francis at the beginning and during these ten years of this pontificate has highlighted the need and importance of cultivating synodality in the Church. This implies a great for restoration and deepening of the constitutive roots of the Church as God’s people, followers who participate in the mission, communion and path of Jesus Christ. The study will cover the parish jurisdiction. Solidarity and it’s relationship with faith and unity, synodality and it’s characteristics, and the parish as a “community of communities” of evangelization and communion are defined. It uses the guidelines of the Latin American method: see, judge and act, in the light of the word of God. In the sample taken, it is found that solidarity and synodality influence and apply in pastoral activities. Then, it is important to train and experience them. With this research, greater awareness of the implications of solidarity and synodality in pastoral groups is expected.
